The unfogettable 29th MARCH !

It was a beautiful Saturday, 29-MAR-2003, the day when i was supposed to go to work to meet my project deadlines...but did not know that this day will become an unforgettable day in my life! With lot of scolding to my PM in my mind, i went to my workplace at 1100hrs; to find some of my friends (colleagues) already there...obviously they too were scolding my PM for having them come to work on a Saturday! :-) One of my friends present was Mr. Vinod Jetty, a Telugu speaking, 26-year old young chap....we had been very close friends as our stay in China proceeded... On June 10th 2002, i went to my office in China...my first day in the China office, as i had landed in this country on June 8th 2002, a Saturday! This guy, Vinod, somehow came to know that i knew java/j2ee and hence called me for some java-related fixtures on his comp...this was our first meet and from there on, it took no time for our friendship to strengthen and soon, within a week, I can say we became very close friends...

MIME performance @ my company function!

2 days back (08-mar-05), there was a function held in my company here...I along with my fellow team members put up a MIME show based on a theme from my company...it was a good one, lasting for 4.5 mins...we practiced for around 2-3 days (including some hours in the weekend!) so as to give it a good shape...:-) Finally, the performance came up well...but i feel presenting a skit is far far better compared to a MIME as the former involves conversation and people can get it very easily...but the latter one, uh, many people cannot understand watz going on the stage!!

Books that are keeping me busy...

hmmm....back after bit looo..oong time ! :-) Reading wise...am into " The FountainHead " by Ayn Rand...its a bit 50-50 book...sometimes its intresting and sometimes its boring too....but good one if you get the theme of the book and like it. Look out for the character of Mr. Howard Roark and the gorgeous Ms.Dominique... :-) In the mean time, i could sneak into the book called " The Alchemist " by Paulo Coelho, given by my friend to read thru...its a self-help category book which talks about following your heart and dreams and acheiving what you want in life...pretty good one...somtimes, you can't co-relate the sequence with the writing over there but in the end, you will definitely get the message...:-) The next book in my bag is " The Art of Happiness " by HH Dalai Lama and Dr. Howard C Cutler. A friend of mine gave it to me to read this...maybe to be in the happiest state than now, in the happier state...:-)
