Am Mummified!!!

Yesterday (01-Dec-05), in our department, as part of the on-going 'Japan Week', there was a function that involved lot of games, skit and dance and some eating too!! :) The first game was to wrap a tall person from the team (there were many teams) with the toilet papers provided!! And, due to my height (am 6ft 2in), i was obviously one among the many involved in the wrapping... And my team did it to me...for 3 mins, i was wrapped continously with the paper and i was mummified!!!! Here is the snap of me in this 'avataar'...:)

A Unique Experience In My Life...

I will word this as my unique experience in my life because I had never undergone this stuff earlier in my 28 years of journey called Life and I never want this to happen again in my life...I dont want this to happen to any one else also... Feb 14th will be etched in my book of life for two unique reasons - one sad and one happy! The happy part is that my first car delivery happened on this day and I was very happy for myself and my family for getting a good car (at last!). The happiness is still continuing and will be there in future also... Now, the sad part of the story is that on that morning I started experiencing a reduction in my left eye vision, something like some object has been placed in front of my eye and this is obstructing me to see clearly...I neglected this for sometime thinking that my normal drops will solve this issue but till evening even after many rounds of eye drops, the problem still existed...Then I rushed to a nearby eye clinic where dilatation process was...

Wrong move or Right move?

Last week, i was called by my manager and asked me a small question that would affect me in a huge way! The small and simple question was: Are you ready to travel to Mumbai, for a project, for a period of 4-6months? Around 5 people are planned to be put into this project. This was a difficult question for me, as i am 50-50 for this oppurtunity. If I look from the Work perspective, as per the inputs from my manager and other concerned people, it is really good, where you go and study an existing system, get Knowledge Transfer from the client and come back to Bangalore and start that project by setting up a team. But the catch here is Mumbai...i would like to work in Mumbai but given my current situation where i have got a valid US Visa, i dont want to miss the oppurtunity that *may* come to me inline with my Visa!
