Corruption to its depth!!

As every weekday morning goes, i was commuting to my work place in my company bus. My usual habit of reading some or the other stuff while commuting (from my home, takes 1+ hrs to reach my workplace!) so that i keep myself busy instead of sitting idle! Today was also the same... At one point, my bus had to stop due to a manual traffic stop. This stop is something like a crowded junction in the making... This road takes heavy traffic with lot of buses (read: Software comp buses) and trucks moving...After that traffic point, trucks are not allowed to move further up the road and have to take deviation, where they have to travel an additional distance to reach an highway. When my bus was standing in that traffic stop, controlled by a local policeman (i believe he is recruited on a part time basis...given he did not possess the normal Cops uniform), one truck tried to enter the road where truck movements are banned...The 'part-time' cop stopped him and told the truck driver to take the deviation route... As i was watching (and everybody in the traffic stop), one of the cleaners of the truck got down with what...Vitamin M in his hand! got it?? nope?? ok...Vitamin M is what every person on this earth need and is striving for that day and night!! It is the one and only MONEY!!! :) So, with some money in his hand, he put an arm on the cops shoulder and gave this money to the cop! u know what, the cop simply took the money, slid it into the pocket...and yes, he gave clearance for the truck to proceed, to the road where truck movements are not-to-be allowed !! When i saw this, i was taken back..not that this is any new stuff here...but the thing is corruption has so fucked up the system that nobody cares for it...can break any rules by giving the much needed Vitamin M and there u go...free handed...can do anything! fuck man...fuck...I still remember one of the greatest lines from the yester years, all time hit, Hindi comedy movie 'Golmaal' (meaning Cheating)...where Late Mr. Utpal Dutt speaks out at one instance..."This country has no future!"...I certainly do agree with this. Seriously, i dont see any progress in terms of infrastructure...in terms of maintaining discipline...in terms of leading of good, healthy life! The system here is so fucked that it is fucked up to its depth!!
