Weekend @ Pizza Hut!!

This weekend was good, where i got to go 2 Brigade Road and MG Road, after a long time!!
I was feeling bored in my house, on saturday evening and planning to go out, somewhere near my house! But, god heard my woe{??} and a friend of mine called me @ 1800hrs asking me 2 come down 2 Brigade Road, in an hour! One more fellow friend was going 2 join us over there...
So, i set out 2 Brigade's and man, what a crowd it was...sometimes, u find it very very jam-packed, like a fish-market...but sometimes, u feel...u can enjoy!! some feast for your eyes! :)
We met at around 1900hrs and then we went on from one end of MGRoad to another end and back...one end of Brigade's 2 another end and back...Our legs were paining from this walking and hence we decided 2 go Pizza Hut for a gud pizza [my idea though..:)] and...and...we had !! The pizza was good, supported by Garlic Bread (with Cheese though) and then by an Apple Pie with Ice-cream as the dessert iterm!!
Finally, we walked out of Pizza Hut at around 2100hrs, had a walk in Church Street and then at around 2145hrs, we said ta-ta 2 each other and headed back 2 home!!
Ah, how would be life if every other day would be a weekend!! :)

Kalale after 7 years and Unbelievable Bangalore-Mysore Highway!

This weekend was an awesome one...everything went fine as planned! After a long 6-7 years, i visited my dad's village 'Kalale', around 4 kms from the Nanjangud town, which in turn is 25kms from Mysore city. It is the time of the 10-day festival / Jatra in the village and saturday, 18th March 2006 was the day for the grand Kalale Rathothsava / Kalale Ther!!! Me and my cousin-bro started off from Bangalore on friday evening @ 1745hrs in his car...We took the banagalore-mysore highway, the new 4-lane road with a 2mtr divider in between the road making it one-way on either side! The road is awesome and you can move in breathtaking speed (we drove at the speed of 120-130kmph!!!) and i stongly feel this is the ONLY good job (on the infrastructure front) the government has done! :) Its the kind of worth the wait for this type of beautiful road...The most happiest person to drive on this road will be our good old KSRTC drivers, who would have gone thru hell for so long years...now,

Recap of 2010 & the Fresh 2011...

Happy New Year 2011 and Happy Sankranti, Pongal to all!! Hope we all have a rocking and exiting 2011 ahead... Having missed out of the blog scene, lot of things have passed in past year of 2010 which I would like to write... 2010 - what an year of ups and downs and ups :-) On the professional front, I changed the job from one US blue-chip major to another US blue-chip major & apparently both being strong rivals to one another...Am talking about my job change from Hewlett-Packard ( HP India ) to IBM India ! Both are great companies to work where both of them share a great history of innovation and culture. However once inside a company and totally involved in your job, all these will take a second priority and there comes your job&role as the first priority. A Unique Experience In My Life...

I will word this as my unique experience in my life because I had never undergone this stuff earlier in my 28 years of journey called Life and I never want this to happen again in my life...I dont want this to happen to any one else also... Feb 14th will be etched in my book of life for two unique reasons - one sad and one happy! The happy part is that my first car delivery happened on this day and I was very happy for myself and my family for getting a good car (at last!). The happiness is still continuing and will be there in future also...
